Dear Rainboots,

What's with the leakage today? Is not your sole purpose in life to keep my feet dry through the rain and puddles? That fact that my socks were wet by the time I got home today proves you to be completely useless in my life. If you weren't cute, I'd be rid of you by now.
Regretfully,
Unhappy Owner of the Useless Rainboots

Dear Fog,

You were so lovely yesterday morning. Seeing you take over the street, yet still being able to see the deep red leaves come through made me wish I had my camera. Beautiful. And the way you rested over the lake in Central Park was like a scene out a movie. Well done. I have since learned that you caused some trouble for the rest of the country trying to fly into this little city. Quite a trouble maker you are. But I'm still a fan. Please come back anytime.
Sincerely,
One who always enjoys your presence

Dear Hidden Ice Patch,

Can't say you were a find surprise last night. Your sudden appearance on the bridge in Central Park found me a slippin' and a slidin' oh so gracefully to the ground. Thanks for that. Two things I have learned from you.
1) I need boots with better traction.
2) One snow storm and I already fell. Its gonna be a long winter.
Sincerely,
Not looking forward to meeting you again

Dear Snow,

You came a little early this year. A little over eager are we? You know I am one of your biggest fan, but all in the proper time and place. End of October, the height of the Autumn season, is not your time. Please refrain yourself, have some patience, and come when you are suppose to. Fall is Fall and you are not invited. You see, the trees were so not ready yet. Some of their leaves hadn't even changed, much less fallen to the ground. Then you had to go and dump on them and pull many a branch and whole tree down with your weight. My poor Central Park looks worst than it did after the hurricane with all these saddly fallen trees. Not to mention that many a section of it is still covered by you. I do not approve of your actions, and kindly request that you change your ways and do not come back until Winter.
Sincerely,
Can't wait to see you in December

Dear iPod,

Well done this morning. Your selection of songs during my run was absolutely perfect and kept me going. Also, the fact the you started playing Marc Anthony's "Rain on Me" the exact moment it started to rain was absolutely fantastic and made my entire run that much more awesome. I'm proud of you today.
Sincerely,
Long Time Listener

Dear Husband To Be,

Did you know I love to be carried? I'm a huge proponent of being lifted and swept away to wherever I need. If I asked would you carry me across the street? I'm not saying this is a deal breaker or anything if you don't, it just would be nice if its not too much trouble.
Should you like to be carried too, I think I could manage that if needed.
Love,
Just waiting to be carried

Dear New York Skyline,

That view at sunset last night was magical. I feel it was the perfect cohesive moment of man's design out for display and God decided to highlight it. I couldn't stop staring. No picture will ever do justice to seeing it firsthand. I'd be okay if you looked like that every night.
Sincerely,
Never fails to be amazed by a view
